Terms of Use
Rules for this private, self-hosted social-media management installation and its connected-platform integrations.
Effective and last updated: August 13, 2026
1. Private self-hosted service
These Terms apply to the Postiz installation at postiz.adeleyeadeyemi.com (the “Service”). The Service is self-hosted and maintained solely for the operator’s own use. It is not a commercial software-as-a-service offering, is not sold to outsiders, and does not accept public customers or subscriptions.
The Service uses open-source Postiz software but is operated independently from Gitroom Limited, Gitroom LLC, and postiz.com. Those parties do not host, support, warrant, or control this installation.
2. Access and account security
Access is restricted to the operator and any person the operator explicitly authorises for private administrative purposes. Public registration does not create a right to use the Service. Credentials must be kept confidential, and suspected unauthorised access must be reported to the operator promptly.
3. Purpose of the Service
The Service provides tools to connect social-media accounts, create and schedule posts, upload media, publish content, retrieve analytics, and use optional AI-assisted drafting. Features depend on the configuration of this installation and the availability and approval of third-party platform APIs.
4. Content and responsibility
Ownership of text, images, video, audio, prompts, schedules, and other content remains with its original owner. The operator is responsible for reviewing content before publication and for ensuring that it is lawful, accurate, properly licensed, and compliant with every connected platform’s rules.
The Service may store, transform, preview, and transmit content only as needed to provide its configured functions and carry out the operator’s instructions.
5. Connected platforms
Connecting an account authorises the Service to use the permissions granted through that platform’s OAuth flow, including publishing, reading account information, or retrieving analytics where requested. A connection may be revoked at any time in the Service or from the platform’s own application and security settings.
Use of each platform is also governed by that platform’s terms and privacy policy, including the YouTube Terms of Service, X Terms of Service, Meta Terms, LinkedIn User Agreement, and TikTok Terms of Service.
6. AI-assisted features
AI-generated text or other output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable. The operator must review all AI output before publishing it and remains responsible for legal compliance, originality, factual accuracy, disclosures, and the rights of anyone mentioned or depicted.
7. Acceptable use
The Service must not be used to:
- publish unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, hateful, or infringing content;
- send spam, create fake engagement, evade platform safeguards, or violate a connected platform’s developer or community rules;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; or
- use another person’s account, personal data, or intellectual property without appropriate permission.
8. Open-source software
Postiz and other open-source components remain governed by the licences distributed with their source code. These Terms do not replace, limit, or expand rights granted under those licences. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Availability and third-party changes
Social platforms may change APIs, scopes, rate limits, review requirements, or account policies without notice. The Service may therefore be modified, interrupted, or lose an integration. Scheduled posts are not guaranteed to publish at a particular time, and third-party analytics may be delayed or incomplete.
10. No fees, support commitment, or service level
No subscription fee is charged for access to this private instance. There is no commercial support commitment, uptime guarantee, service level agreement, refund policy, or obligation to continue operating any feature.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. The operator is responsible for backups, account security, content review, and confirming that posts were accepted by each connected platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this private installation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service or a third-party platform’s actions.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
The operator may restrict access, disconnect an integration, stop the Service, or delete locally stored data at any time. Revoking a social platform connection stops future authorised access but may not remove content already published to that platform.
13. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what information this installation processes, why it is processed, how connected-platform data is handled, and how access can be revoked.
14. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated when the Service, its integrations, or applicable requirements change. The current effective date appears at the top of this page.
Questions about these Terms or this installation can be sent to the operator through the contact page.
